If a panoramic Gulf of Thailand view from your room matters more to you than stepping straight onto the sand, Nami is the pick.
Secret Place — right on the beach, more room types
Secret Place, 150 metres down the road, has bungalows that open directly onto Haad Yao Beach, plus a wider spread of 12 room types from beachfront bungalows to a 6-bed female dorm. It also runs a coworking space and SUP/kayak rental on site.
If you want to be steps from the water, or you're travelling on a tighter budget with the dorm option, Secret Place is the better fit.
